The minimum water depth for a subsea tank is generally limited by the wave loads and safe vessel keel clearance.
For shallow water regions (less than circa 50-60m) our Shallow Water Tank may be used, which provide active and passive protection to the tank(s) below the surface.
The tank is largely self installing by use of ballast tanks and utilising the water plane area of the surface piercing legs.
The topsides can also be sized to provide surface facilities and equipment, subject to stability during transportation.
This tank can be segmented further to provide a green hydrogen and storage facility providing a low emissions energy storage solution.
